Polyacrylgel is your new gel concept that combines the advantages of traditional acrylic powder and gel products in one gel. Its properties are very different from the properties of usual gels. When working with gel, you need to pay attention to some specifics of the product.
In terms of chemistry, it is a mixture of acrylic powder and resins. If it is stored in jars for a long period of time, the acrylic powder can ball up a bit. This balling up process leaves cracks in the gel that slowly fill with resin. This is a normal process and does not affect the quality of the gel.
If your polyacrylic gel has such cracks, you can easily homogenize it by stirring the top layer. To prevent the inclusion of air bubbles, the gel should be stirred slowly and carefully.
As mentioned earlier, the wells in the gel slowly fill with heart. If an opened gel jar with deep holes in the surface is stored, these holes will slowly fill with resin. Then it can be difficult to homogenize the gel again by stirring. Therefore, we recommend smoothing the surface of the product in the jar before storing it for a long period of time. If the gel cannot be processed optimally after standing and stirring the upper resin layer for a long time, it can help to remove this thin resin layer completely.
