APPLICATION Rubber bases with Polish Color
Prepare the nail as usual and remove the cuticles. Now use the Ultra Prep Dehydrator to degrease the nails and then the Ultra Double Bond Primer. Allow both liquids to air dry for approx. 20 seconds one after the other. Now you can start with a bonding gel that is compatible with the soak-off technique. For example, the H-FreeBonder (soak-off compatible), or the Connect Basegel Extreme Bond. Massage the bonding gel into an extremely thin layer and cure it in the lamp.
Now you can apply a contact layer to the nail with any builder/rubber base gel that matches the nails. This will make the subsequent build-up easier.
Once you have applied the contact layer to the nail (do not harden), you can now apply a light build-up with the rubber/base gel. Make sure the build-up is not too thick and has a nice smooth shape and let the gel cure in the lamp. The aim is not to have to file any more.
PRO TIPS:
1. Take a thin fineliner brush and use it to lightly stroke out / thin out the build-up in the right directions. This allows you to easily smooth out any unevenness without destroying the shape.
2. Turn the finished finger over once before it goes into the lamp. Allow the gel to flow back into the center of the nail for a few seconds until the structure has the perfect shape.
If the gel is also intended for a slight extension, you can now make a small extension on a template in this step, for example. If you are only doing a natural nail enhancement without extension, make sure to coat the nail tips very well so that they do not remain open. This could otherwise lead to lifting.
If possible, always avoid filing. If you have to re-file a nail, remove the sweat layer with a tissue and cleaner and make sure that the filing dust does not get onto the sweat layer of the other fingers.
Now continue by not removing the sweat layer (unless you need to re-file the shape), but either apply a Polish Soak-off Gel Color like this one or leave the nails as they are now.
PRO TIPS:
1. When applying color, always apply a very, very thin layer to the nail first and cure it. This does not necessarily have to cover very well. However, it helps to keep a filigree thin shape by working in 2 very thin layers instead of one slightly thicker one!
2. When applying the color, make sure to slightly increase the pressure on the brush in the nail tip area. Otherwise, unsightly thicker deformations usually occur at the nail tips.
Finally, all you have to do is seal the nail with a sealing gel of your choice. We recommend our bestseller Secret Beyond Shine to our customers!
There are always two options for removing soak-off gels:
1. Removal with remover liquid: To remove the nails, you only need to roughen the upper sealing layer well enough with a buffer so that the remover liquid can penetrate the lower soak-off gel layers well enough. Drip some of our JustNails Remover Liquid onto the specially made Remover Pads, or a cell tablet that you wrap with aluminum foil when it has been pressed onto the nail. Leave the liquid on for at least 10-15 minutes. You may have to remove the first softened layer and leave it on again for a few minutes until the gel has completely dissolved (depending on the gel, material and thickness of the build-up layer and color layer). Take off the remover pad and carefully remove the gel residue with a pro-pusher or a rosewood stick. Avoid using the remover regularly when filling up. As the natural nail would otherwise have to be matted and roughened again and again with this method, this would be very damaging to the natural nail.
2. Milling with a milling cutter: You need a very good metal milling cutter bit to remove or fill the nails. If possible, always leave a thin layer of gel on the nail when removing it completely. When filling the nails, remove only 50% of the modeling and model again with a thinner layer on the old modeling. Make sure to remove any liftings and keep them clean.
