With Xpress Tip Glue Gel, you can attach Fullcover Tips quickly, precisely and reliably to the natural nail. The gel comes in a jar and can be picked up with a brush, or for experienced users: directly with the tip, applied cleanly and controlled. The thick viscous consistency prevents running and allows you to press the tip precisely. Holding the tip during curing is no longer necessary.
The gel features a specially developed, minimal sweating layer that differs significantly from conventional sweating layers. It is specifically optimized for use on tips and ensures improved adhesion through its strongly sticky but non-greasy surface, resulting in especially durable modelling.
The acid contained in the gel additionally supports adhesion, so the tip bonds optimally with the gel creating a stable connection. Thanks to the thick viscous consistency, you can easily apply the gel to the tip and press it onto the natural nail without running.
ApplicationFor a long-lasting result up to 4 weeks:
- Prepare your nails and cuticles as usual and finish preparation with our Ultra Prep and Ultra Double Bond Primer.
- Lightly roughen the inside of the tip using a file, buffer, or suitable bit. Alternatively, you can use our ShapeX Prep Liquid. This chemically softens the tip surface and prepares it optimally for gel adhesion. Massage the fluid into the tip for a few seconds then continue immediately. Important: prepare each tip individually, as the tip hardens again after the fluid evaporates.
- Using a brush, pick up a small amount of Xpress Tip Glue Gel from the jar and apply it to the inside of the tip. Place the tip at a 45-degree angle at the cuticle and gently press down until the gel spreads evenly and the tip fits perfectly.
- Cure the tip with a small UV/LED hand lamp for about 15 seconds to prevent slipping. Depending on the gel consistency, hold the tip lightly during curing to avoid air bubbles.
- Repeat for all nails. Then cure the entire hand for 60 seconds in the UV/LED lamp. Without prior fixation with the hand lamp, the tip may slip in the main lamp.
- If necessary, slightly file the transition from the tip to the natural nail and even out unevenness. Then roughen the entire tip to prepare for colour application.
- Now apply your desired colour gel. If you like a cover look, you should use so-called "Liquid Cover" from bottles for Fullcover Tips. These are perfectly matched to Fullcover Tips and you can create a cover look with only 1-2 thin layers without having to model a thick layer of cover gel on the nail.
- Finally, you can seal the nail: we recommend our Secret Beyond Shine or our HEMA FREE No Wipe sealer.
When refilling, you can fill the grown-out area as usual.
For complete removal, file off the tip together with the underlying gel. Always leave a thin residual layer of gel on the natural nail to protect it.
