APPLICATION Rubber Bases with Polish Color

Prepare the nail as usual and remove the cuticles. Now use the Ultra Prep Dehydrator to degrease the nails and then the Ultra Double Bond Primer. Let both liquids air dry for about 20 seconds each. Now you can start with a bonding gel compatible with the soak-off technique. For example, the H-Free Bonder (soak-off capable), or the Connect Basegel Extreme Bond. Massage the bonding gel in an extremely thin layer and cure it under the lamp.

Now you can apply any builder/rubber base gel suitable for the nails as a contact layer. This will make the subsequent building easier.
After applying the contact layer to the nail (do not cure), you can now do a light build-up with the rubber/base gel. Make sure not to build too thickly and create a nice smooth shape, and cure the gel under the lamp. The goal is to avoid needing to file later.

PRO TIPS:
1. Take a thin fineliner brush to help and lightly smooth the build-up in the right directions/make it thinner. This lets you easily smooth out unevenness without destroying the shape.

2. Turn the finished finger upside down before placing it in the lamp. Let the gel flow back to the center of the nail for a few seconds until the build-up has the perfect shape.

If the gel is also intended for a slight extension, you can now do a small extension on a form at this step. If you are only strengthening the natural nail without extension, ensure to wrap the nail tips well so they are not left open. Otherwise, it could lead to lifting.
Avoid filing if possible. If you have to file a nail, remove the inhibition layer with a cellulose pad and cleaner and ensure nail dust does not get on the inhibition layer of other fingers.

Continue by not removing the inhibition layer (unless you must file the shape), but either apply a Polish Soak-off Gel Color like this one or leave the nails as they are.

PRO TIPS:
1. When applying color always make sure to first apply a very thin layer and cure it. It does not necessarily have to cover very well. But it helps keep a delicate thin form by working in two very thin layers rather than one thicker one.

2. When applying color, press the brush slightly more at the nail tip area. Otherwise, unsightly thick distortions often occur at the nail tips.

For removal of soak-off gels, there are always two options:

1. Removal with remover liquid: To remove the nails, you only need to roughen the top sealing layer enough with a buffer so that the remover liquid can penetrate well into the lower soak-off gel layers. Drip some of our JustNails remover liquid onto special remover pads or a cellulose pad wrapped with aluminium foil and press onto the nail. Leave the liquid on for at least 10-15 minutes. You may need to remove the first softened layer and leave to act for a few more minutes until the gel is completely dissolved (depends on gel, material, thickness of build and color layers). Remove the remover pad and gently remove gel residues with a pro-pusher or rosewood stick. Avoid regularly using remover for refill, as the natural nail would repeatedly become matt and rough, which could damage the natural nail.

2. Milling with a drill bit: You need a very good metal drill bit for removal or refilling of nails. When completely removing, leave a thin layer of gel on the nail if possible. When refilling nails, remove only 50% of the model and remodel with a thinner layer on the old model. Make sure to remove and clean possible liftings.
