Xpress Tip Glue Gel – for attaching full cover tips (soft gel, PMMA or ABS) ATTENTION: The new TPO-free version has an updated formula. The Xpress Tip Glue Gel now has a thick viscosity. With the Xpress Tip Glue Gel, you can attach full cover tips quickly, precisely, and reliably to the natural nail. Thanks to the practical brush bottle, application is clean and easy without the need for an additional brush. The thick viscosity prevents the gel from running and allows you to press the tip onto the nail in a controlled way. This gel features a specially developed minimal inhibition layer that differs significantly from standard inhibition layers. It is specifically optimized for use with tips and, with its slightly tacky surface, improves adhesion and ensures a long-lasting result. The acid contained in the gel further enhances adhesion, allowing the tip to bond perfectly with the gel and creating a strong, durable connection. Its thick consistency makes it easy to apply inside the tip and press onto the natural nail without running. Application For long-lasting results up to 4 weeks: Prepare your nails and cuticles as usual and finish with our Ultra Prep and Ultra Double Bond Primer. Lightly roughen the inside of the tip using a file, buffer, or suitable bit. Alternatively, you can use our ShapeX Prep Liquid. This chemically softens the surface of the tip and prepares it perfectly for gel adhesion. Massage the liquid into the tip for a few seconds and continue immediately. Important: Prepare each tip individually, as the tip hardens again once the liquid has evaporated. Apply a small amount of Xpress Tip Glue Gel to the inside of the tip. Place the tip at a 45-degree angle near the cuticle and gently press it down until the gel is evenly distributed and the tip sits perfectly. Cure the tip using a small UV/LED hand lamp for about 15 seconds to prevent it from moving. Depending on the gel consistency, hold the tip in place to avoid air bubbles. Repeat this process for all nails. Then cure the entire hand in a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds. Without pre-curing with a hand lamp, the tip may shift in a standard lamp. If needed, file the transition between the tip and natural nail to smooth out any edges. Lightly buff the entire tip surface to prepare for color application. Apply your desired color gel, cure it, and finish with a top coat. We recommend our Secret Beyond Shine or our HEMA FREE No Wipe Top Coat. Refill or Removal For a refill, simply fill the regrowth area as usual. For complete removal, file off the entire tip along with the underlying gel.
