!Aprés Gel-X® Tips differ fundamentally from conventional fullcover tips. They are not made from rigid plastic (such as PMMA, polymethyl methacrylate – a rigid plastic) but manufactured using a special, patented process from methacrylate-based soft gel material. The Aprés Gel-X® system is based on a unique, patented material and application technology found exclusively at Aprés.
This difference is crucial:
- The used Extend Gel fully bonds to the inside of the tip, as it is prepared with Gel-X Prep® so that the surface is slightly dissolved.
- This creates a perfect gel-on-gel connection – unlike conventional fullcover tips which have a gel-on-PMMA connection.
- The result is an extremely strong adhesion, high stability and maximum durability of the nail extension.
- Thanks to these high-quality properties, the tips are ideal for professional use in nail salons and can reliably be worn for about 4 weeks.
