Never go into the middle of the nail or you will get a normal 3D cat eye effect again.  If you want a 3D cat eye effect, just hold the large square side of the magnet over the nail for 3-4 seconds. If you are not happy with the result and want to try again, just repaint the gel again. You do not have to clean away the "used" layer. The particles will spread again as they did in the beginning. Let the gel harden immediately afterwards (UV/LED: 60 Sec.) and seal it at the end.
