If you are not happy with the result and want to try again, just repaint the gel again. You do not have to clean away the "used" layer. The particles will spread again as they did in the beginning. Let the gel harden immediately afterwards (UV/LED: 60 Sec.) and seal it at the end. You can also achieve a beautiful effect without a magnet by simply painting the gel on a black or any other base color and just let it cure.
