A Gel-X® set can be applied much faster than traditional acrylic or hard gel extensions.
Original Aprés Gel-X® tips, sets, essentials and accessories for professional soft gel nail extensions. Discover the patented full cover soft gel system by Aprés, designed to extend nails faster, more naturally and more gently.
Gel-X® is the world’s first full coverage soft gel extension system developed by Aprés Nail. Unlike traditional acrylic or hard gel enhancements, Gel-X® tips are not sculpted manually but applied as fully pre-shaped soft gel tips directly onto the natural nail.
Gel-X® saves time, reduces filing and delivers consistent, professional results.

Many inexpensive full cover tips are made from rigid plastic such as ABS or PMMA. Original Aprés Gel-X® tips are made from a special methacrylate-based soft gel material. This creates better bonding with Extend Gel, increased flexibility and a more comfortable feel.
Before choosing a shape, it is important to understand whether the Natural Line or Sculpted Line is a better fit for the natural nail.
Flatter C-curve for flatter or wider nail beds. Ideal when the natural nail has less curvature and the tip should fit as naturally as possible.
Stronger C-curve and more apex for curved natural nails. Ideal when the nail has more height or a more sculpted appearance is desired.
Elegant, feminine and especially popular for modern salon nails.
Trendy shape with a straight tip, ideal for nail art.
Natural, practical for everyday wear and comfortable to wear.
Classic, clean and perfect for French looks.
Sharp, extravagant and ideal for statement nails.

Application
Push back the cuticle, remove excess cuticle, remove invisible cuticle, perform a manicure and gently mattify the natural nail.
The tip should fully cover the natural nail without putting pressure on the side walls.
First apply pH Bonder and then Non Acid Gel Primer to the natural nail. Let both air dry. Apply enough Gel-X - Tip Prep liquid to the inside of the Gel-X® tip and massage it into the material. The surface becomes softer so the tip and gel can bond optimally.
Apply a thin layer of Extend Gel to the natural nail and place a suitable amount inside the tip.
Place the tip at a 45 degree angle, lower it slowly and avoid air bubbles. Use the Omni Light Lamp to flash cure the nail so nothing slips. Repeat this on all fingers and then place the hand in a standard UV/LED lamp for full curing.
After curing, the surface of the Gel-X tip can be softened again with Gel-X - Tip Prep or gently mattified with a buffer. Important: Never remove filing dust with cleaner during this step, as the tips may break during everyday wear. Finally, finish the nails with color, cover, top coat or nail art.
With proper application, Gel-X® can last up to 4-5 weeks.
When applied and removed correctly, Gel-X® is especially gentle on natural nails.
Yes, with the right products and some practice, the system is also suitable for ambitious DIY users.
They are made from patented soft gel material and allow for superior gel-to-gel bonding, while most other soft gel tips on the market are at best made from PMMA and, in the worst case, from ABS plastic.
